Daicel as patron of the Talents for the companies competition!
For the third time, Daicel supported young talents in the development of technical and social competences by being the patron of the Talents for companies technical competition. The third edition of this competition took place on September 27, 2023.
The competition is organized by the Sudeten Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Świdnica and the Chamber of Commerce of the Hradec Kralove Region. This event had a special mission - to interest young people in technical fields and to promote the choice of educational path in technical fields.
The competition involved teams consisting of three primary school students, three secondary school students, a company representative (as technical supervision) and a teacher. Teams had less than 2.5 hours to build a miniature model of an industrial line, and their work was assessed by a committee based on previously established criteria. The final product, task completion time, quality, precision and teamwork were assessed. Our company was the patron of a team consisting of students of Primary School No. 6 from Świdnica and the Mechatronics Technical Secondary School from the Mechanical School in Świdnica, Our team took 4th place.
Thanks to initiatives such as the "Talents for companies" competition, young people have the opportunity not only to expand their technical competences, but also personal and social ones, such as teamwork, communication, problem solving, and work organization.
